Besides the Astroboa Platform we offer professional services that include Information Modeling, Installation and Configuration, Fine Tuning and Building a Highly Available and Scalable Content / Information Infrastructure for your Organization.


Products

Astroboa is an Open Source Platform offered under the LGPL License. You may evaluate and start using Astroboa at no cost by downloading the Community Edition.

If you require support you may purchase the Astroboa Enterprise Edition.

If you are in lack of resources or you do not want to bother with server setup, updates, security, backup and all the administration hassle, you may choose to use the Astroboa SaaS (Software as a Service), a shared, highly available, scalable and fully managed Cloud Service that allows you to concentrate at your main business and let us do all the required administration and management work for you. Additionally the Cloud Service offers some advanced business features like dashboard charts, more export and import options, cache engine optimization options, access to Publish/Subscribe Services and various add-ons that are continuously added on top of the basic service.

If your project has special needs and the shared cloud service is not an option we may provide you with dedicated, fully managed virtual or physical servers on the cloud.

Astroboa Community

Astroboa Community is a full featured version of Astroboa Platform.

Support: Community Support is available through the public forum and the public issue tracking system.

Recommended for: Organizations which maintain their own infrastructure and build their applications utilizing highly trained internal resources, i. e. Organizations with data center services available, expert IT staff to support update, secure, monitor and maintain the systems, expert Java EE engineers  and web developers with ability to understand application server logs and work with source files and javadoc.

License type: Open Source LGPL

Astroboa Enterprise Standard

Astroboa Enterprise Standard has all the features of Astroboa Community, along with certification by BetaCONCEPT Engineers (tested and QA’d) and annual support services ensuring that your installation will always be up to date with the latest upgrades and that Astroboa usage and maintenance  will be smooth, easy and quick.

Support: Standard Annual Support is targeted towards helping you deploy and maintain Astroboa as well as develop your Applications with Astroboa APIs. It includes:

  • Escalated Bug Fixes up to the level of Astroboa Architects (Bugs that are filed by standard support contract holders will have elevated priority and will be resolved in the next bug fix release)
  • Personalized Bug-fix Release: No
  • Feature Priorities / Roadmap Input: No
  • End-of-life policy with support of Astroboa Versions up to 2 years after their initial release (requires that the annual subscription is renewed each year)
  • E-mail Support: Yes
  • Private Issue Tracking Account: Yes
  • Phone Support: No
  • IM / Skype: No
  • Development / Implementation Consulting: 2 Hours / month
  • Architecture Consulting: 2 Hours / Year

Astroboa Enterprise Premium has all the features of Astroboa Community, along with certification by BetaCONCEPT Engineers (tested and QA’d) and premium annual support services ensuring that your Astroboa dependent mission critical applications will be always high-performing, secure, and highly available and your end users and developers daily work will be smooth and productive.

Support: Premium Annual Support is targeted towards helping you deploy and maintain Astroboa as well as develop your Applications with Astroboa APIs. It includes:

  • Escalated Bug Fixes up to the level of Astroboa Architects (Bugs that are filed by support contract holders will have elevated priority and will be resolved in the next bug fix release or will result in personalized bug fix release if the bug is critical for the customer's business)
  • Personalized Bug-fix Release: Yes
  • Feature Priorities / Roadmap Input: Yes (Feature requests that are submitted by current support contract holders will be elevated in priority and considered for addition to the product in the next major release.)
  • End-of-life policy with support of Astroboa Versions up to 2 years after their initial release (Assumes that the annual subscription is renewed each year)

Astroboa Cloud Service offers peace of mind, exceptional efficiency with low cost and shortened "application lifecycles". Astroboa Dedicated Cloud (SaaS)

If the shared cloud service does not fit the size or nature of your project then the BetaCONCEPT engineers can design a custom architecture and build a private cloud service that can be as small as a single dedicated server or as complex as a highly available and scalable cluster of servers with service components and data distributed to many physical servers or virtual machines.
